If you need to establish both gas (NV Energy only offers gas service in the Truckee Meadows) and electric service you probably fit into one of five categories:
- There are gas and electric facilities (i.e. underground and/or distribution power lines and gas lines) in place near your location and you need to establish service and get the meters;
- There are no facilities near your location, so you'll need to have them built before you can establish service and get a meter;
- You don't know if there are facilities near your location.
- You need require temporary/construction power to your location.
